Exhibition at Bandstand Gardens in aid of Children’s Hospice SW

26th June 2021

Royal Avenue Gardens, Dartmouth, TQ6 9PS

Exhibiting at Dartmouth in the Bandstand Gardens on 26th and 27th June 2021.

This event is arranged by Dartmouth Friends of Bridge House Children’s Hospice South West and has been running for a number of years.
A large number of high-quality art and craft items are on display, with demonstrations by participants, a “fun” stand for children to craft, usually entertainments and delicious home-made refreshments available.

I try to attend every year and meet a lot of returning customers and friends. The organisers are a devoted and happy group and usually raise around £5,000+ for the charity.

This year, as a member of More Meadows, a group set up to encourage the establishment of wild meadows in Devon, I am enjoying trying to recreate the diversity of wild flower meadows in paint. As passionate environmentalists for 30+ years, my husband and I are reseeding our old meadows this year to encourage more and more diversity on our farm, which is exciting.
